Yarn -
This is Sar's personal site and it's a mighty fine one at that
with very regularly updated diary columns and some useful links.
It isn't really Quake related anymore but is still an interesting
read and he's now added a Photoshop tutorial for anyone into
creating their own electronic art.
DooWahDiddy
- This is a great looking site, the defining feature of which
is a fantastic railing guide. I never knew you could write
so much about wielding the beautiful weapon before I read
this. Personally, I think Jay's guide was better than this,
but this was the original and the only one still available
online so read it. Sadly, the site was abandoned a long, long
time ago now :(, but there's plenty of other content including
a lot of pak modifications, etc.

- OK so the central news looks a little, well, blank :).
However, this is still worth visiting for the many and various
CTF related links. There's also an excellent set of links
to utilities for everything from getting game stats to tracking
servers to editing skins. I should maybe nick some for my
resources section, ahem >;). This is now really old,
though, so many of the links may be dead unfortunately.
