Eat Electric Death - I was unsure where to put this one. EED are a very old-school Q2 clan so it's kind of a clan site, but it's more of a discussion site with reviews of hardware or comments on the news or articles debating topics. Not sure how it works but the members' chat seems to update to the site so it's kept up-to-date with loads of comments. One I visit regularly.

Quake The Wall - If you're looking for a Quake wallpaper for Windows then look no further as this site has literally hundreds of top quality desktops mainly based around Quake 3 but there are some Half Life ones too.

All Your Base Are Belong to Us - I've linked this in the Quake section because it's a commonly used catchphrase on the servers and in irc. It refers to some ancient arcade game or something that had a dodgy translation from the Japanese, hence the grammar :). This is a cool little Shockwave animation that ends up showing the phrase everywhere. Pretty funny anyway.
