| | Shub HPB (Shub POV) (460 Kb) - Download Another previously featured but unlinked demo, this is of Shub as a HPB in the early days, before he was even in Memento Mori. He shows great promise though and defeats his LPB opponent in this DM1 duel. | 7 Dec 2000 [ 7.0 ] Duel Source: Unknown Hosted by: Revilla |

| Clan Stealth Demos CS are arguably the greatest ever UK Q2 clan and have won the league more times than UNR or any other clan. Some might say that the competition nowadays is less tough than a couple of years ago, others would say that players who've been playing so long must surely be playing at a higher standard. This small collection of demos shows CS at their best and includes one of the best games ever played, their recent match against newly formed superclan Acura. The third demo is CS versus Rv in the Wireplay league. CS-vs-AC on Q2DM1 (CS^Rob* POV) (1.2 Mb) CS-vs-AC on Q2DM1 (CS^Jay POV) (1.1 Mb) CS-vs-Rv on Q2DM1 (Various POV) (1 Mb)

| | HooD-vs-FED (Bl0key POV) (1.9 Mb) This is the match people often forget, the one that followed The Hoods' win over UNR. There are two demos, both from FED^Blokey's POV, who plays amazingly. Not sure how he managed it on a modem up against all those ISDN'ers.... At one point [HooD]Stormkeep is unlucky enough to get spawn fragged seven or eight times on the run, enough to put anyone off for life. Brilliant demos. | | Q2 - HooD - Season 7 - Division 2 These are the demos of HooD's UKCCL Season 7 unbeaten Division 2 run. We gained promotion from this but the clan folded before we could ever play in Division 1. Week 1 - vs-DS on Q2DM3 (SHAFT pov) Week 2 - vs-HIV on Q2DM6 (SHAFT pov) Week 3 - vs-PB on Q2DM5 (Soulthief pov) Week 6 - vs-DOS on Q2DM2 (Requiem pov) Week 7 - vs-EA on Q2DM8 (Zero pov)
NB. Week 4 was a default against NL. Week 5 was a farce against APO (they only had three players).

| UNR-vs-FED I've had these demos for a long time and I'm still not certain what competition it was. They're wearing Euroquake skins but they appear to be on the net from their pings. Anyway, who cares, these are two matches between two amazing clans. The first is from Luke's POV. He plays as you might expect, a very solid game. There's an amusing bit twoards the end. FED were (maybe still are) well known for spamming smilies when they got frags =>. That kind of thing. Maskaler (now ex0r) gets four rails in a row, railing Luke, Tasan and Spawny, so he does a "hehe!". Luke then follows this up with a sesh of his own and does a "hehe". It's funny when you see it anyway because UNR usually stay pretty quiet :). | UNR-vs-Clan9 - Euroquake This tournament was held ages ago, back in early 1999 I think, but for anyone who missed it or newer players, watching the UK's best squaring up to the Swedish best is great. You'll need the Euroquake skins to appreciate it. | | LM-vs-CA (Voo POV) (900 Kb) - Download Thanks to Zipgun for this one, an amazing LAN clash between two top Scandinavian clans. This was the Triad 2 final (I'd never heard of it either). The demo sticks to Voo's point-of-view and he gets the waterside position on The Edge. This being on a LAN, his railing his first-class as are his dodging skills. A top railer in that particular position is usually the highest fragger but Voo manages the incredible feat of 60 frags. | 18 June 2000 [ 8.5 ] Team-DM Source: Zipgun Hosted by: SavageDemos |
| | Xenoclan - Shift (7.5 Mb) - Download When I first saw this demo I assumed it was one of the most blatently correographed demos in Quake history (which was not necessarily a bad thing I might add). The shots and skills on show are nothing short of fantastic. I have since been informed however, by a member of the clan itself, that the shots are real and taken from hours and hours of FFA praccy. Judge for yourself :). The moves and rails pulled off by this famous Canadian clan are nothing short of astounding, and this is a real spectacle. If you're interested in the clan itself then visit www.xenoclan.com. Sorry about the size of it but this is a truly great recam movie - that you won't forget as quickly as most. Cheers to [AoD]Haxor for the reminder. I saw it months ago but lost it. Installation is easy enough, you need to create a directory called "shift" in your Quake 2 root directory, but it's explained clearly in the doc file. | 14 June 2000 [ 9.5 ] Movie Source: PQ-Cineplex Hosted by: FilePlanet |
