25 November 2001 - Postscript

Still have my ISDN until Friday. Just to stress btw that this site isn't going anywhere and I will be returning to updating it, but prolly not until January when I have my modem set up and everything. Think my last update sounded a little too terminal ;).

By the way, I've finally added a forum to the site. I've settled for one of the Gamers.com jobs which are pretty decent. Most forums on most sites I've seen are pretty barren places (apart from Savage) but it's worth having. Post away if you have anything to say about this site, Quake or anything else :).

UPDATE - 27/11/01: Seeing the news on Quakenation about NME folding, I've uploaded an early demo of them and added one on how to do circle jumps as well.

17 November 2001 - Losing My Favourite Game

I'm having my ISDN disconnected and going offline in a matter of weeks so I'll be taking a break from this site for a while :(. I'll hopefully be back on my old Pace modem using Nildram, the best gamers dialup in the UK (free connection please guys), some time in late December or next year. This site isn't going anywhere just yet, though, as my Nildram account is paid up and I intend to keep it for my modem playing. That is unless RL has time to take hold. Surely not!

Just in case though, I'd just like to say how much I've enjoyed creating this site and updating over the months. I hope it's provided you with tips, demos, links or something at least that would interest you as a Quake player :), so please spread the word if you like it.

I would strongly recommend players out there to make sites of their own. It really is very simple. It must be as I still don't know any HTML code :). Everyone must surely have some demos or links to pimp or a history to tell.

3 November 2001 - Movin' Too Fast

I've just uploaded a demo of Remer-vs-Goldenboy so go and download it. Check out Sonic's excellent demos site too, which is where I nicked it from ;). Lots of classics on there, many of which I hadn't seen.

Update: I've tried to sort out the missing links due to NBCI cancelling their accounts, etc. Most demos have been sorted and I've added a set of 5 demos from Blokey's pov of the original UK-vs-France games, because Euroquake have removed the original site unfortunately. Should be OK but mail me if any are dodgy.
